The Sunken Treasure
Named for the "sinker Mahogany" back and sides, this beautiful Orchestra Model, steel string guitar features a soundboard of master grade, bear clawed, Red "Adirondack" spruce and a forward-shifted X brace. The Mahogany was harvested off the coast of Belize in the early 1900s. Rosewood bindings and abalone purflings are a perfect compliment to the reddish brown hues of the waterlogged Mahogany. The sound hole rosette is a custom made abalone ring on a Rosewood background. The Ryan profiled, Honduran Mahogany neck has a double action truss rod, 44mm width at the nut and 2-3/16" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fretboard with Evo gold frets. 25.4" scale length, 14 frets to the body, Gotoh 510 tuners, Ebony bridge and Tintul bridge pins, clear pickguard, bleached bone saddle and nut.
This guitar has a rich, full and balanced tone - and is a dream to play!
